needs burn in time!
The first time I tried the KL480 NC, I must admit I was a little dissappointed. They sounded a bit cheap and not very clear. Keep in mind, this pair of headset need at least 30 hours of burn in time, maby as much as 50 hours. Then they will open up in the whole range, they will sound much more "alive", natural and crisp.

This is very good.
I just bought this two days ago and it is one of the best headphones I have ever listen to. For its price, this pair of headphones is extremely good! Even some headphones that cost more perform less. Noise Cancelling is not bad, but the sound quality is very good. I especially love its bass. Good pair of headphones, I recommend it. It's lightweight, the padding is so soft, it is so comfortable to wear. I don't even notice it when I'm wearing it. This is by far one of the best.

Just WOW!
I love music, and I'm am using head phones every day in every place, and these are just perfect for public use, and i like the design, but i was more looking for good sound quality then design and i found it in these head phones.

Zimply Superb
this was my first purchase of a noise cancelling headphone. i checked out bose and senheiser. but the design and portability along with superb sound quality made me choose this. I took it to office and showed it to my colleagues and all they could say was it was awesome... i really love my headphones and have started listening to more music and watching more movies ever since... :) ... AKG Rocks !! ... i sure am proud of my best and right purchase for my birthday...

High Quality Product - perfect for long flights
I got this in the airport for a longer flight. Absolutely comfortable, high quality sound (classic music as well as hard rock...). transportation is great as folding very flat. I like the external noise cancelling stick, as I only use it during flights, in the hotels there is no need for nc.
It was expensive, but worth every penny.

I ordered these headphones as recommendation from a friend and boy am I glad I listened. As being a previous owner of Sennheisser and Bose noise canceling headphones, these headphones are far superior in both sound quality and comfort. They are also easy to store and fold with the included case, making them perfect for business travelers such as myself. If you have an opportunity I recommend you listen for yourself and compare and contrast with the other noise canceling headphones, you won't be disappointed.

The One
These are my first pair of AKG.
Amazing compact NC headphones.
I've tried many other headphones that offer the same features but these are the best.
Really great sound and the bass holds.
I would love to see a future model have the NC feature built in to the actual headphone as opposed to the external unit located on the wire.
Other than that these are incredible.
