DESIGN
The design of the exterior is simple but sleek and the velvet-style ear-pads give the phones a luxury feel. A metallic finish on the cans instead of the plastic emblems would be a nice addition. The cans are not very large but they will still fall around most peoples ears. They offer good fit, but because of the can size they might get a little uncomfortable after longer listening sessions. The best thing about this headphones would be the wireless receiver. Not only is it small and very good looking; the charging solution is far superior in terms of usability than those of the competition. Great job AKG!

BUILD
The build quality of the headphones is pretty solid too. The weight is just right and the velvet ear-pads are both comfortable and very durable. The automatic adjusting headband works very well and the buttons and volume joggle do not feel flimsy at all.

SOUND
The sonic reproduction of these headphones is pretty mature for its size. They do produce quite good bass, the mids are clear and vivid and the highs are bright enough but none of it exceeds expectations. The wireless performance is great though, with no signal loss for a range of at least 25m. Unfortunately there is a slight amount of permanent background noise which is to be expected with wireless headphones although i've seen some competitors in the same price range do a slightly better job in suppressing it.

VERDICT
The K930's are headphones with a good price/performance ratio. The build quality as well as the sound are solid but somehow don't manage to exceed expectations. That said the usability of the base station is far superior to its competition giving them some edge and making them a perfect companion for watching TV, listening radio or playing videogames.
