I'm in love again
I think I should start off by saying I really never heard of this brand when I bought these Headphones. The Dead honest truth is that I bought these headphones because of how sexy they looked. I'm no expert but these have to be the best headphones I've ever heard (even over Bose). I can listen to a song i've had for 4 years and it sounds like its completely new. But these compact headphones always have a tradeoff in comfort. It just might be because my head is big but it does feel really tight and I would imagine that it'll hurt in an hour or so (I just started listening to it). The Value is only 4 stars because no matter how Great these headphones are I can't help but to say to myself "I spent $680(HKD) on these headphones to myself" But overall this is a really great buy

k 518 FTW !!!
This headphones are amazing. The sound is much better than you estimate for headphones of this size. Only one little problem. After a few !hours! of listening music, my ears hurt a little bit, but then i just have to wait a minute and then you can listen to music again without any pain. All in all they are my favourite headphones ;)

Deadly bang for the buck
"You get what you pay for" used to be my mentality before purchasing the AKG518 headphones. Having always thought that I had to spend more than a decent amount on a pair of headphones to get quality couldn't have been a more wrong mind state. For the price tag of merely fifty dollars these headphones came with more power equipped than all my old ones in the same price range or more expensive combined. Offering a very balanced and crystal clear sound with the just right amount of thump in the bass, these headphones takes the music to the next level whatever genre you listen to. The K518 can also withstand playback at a very impressively loud volume, but not to worry, they also isolate sound very well for those who don't want to bother other people with the music but also don't want to be bothered themselves from the outside world while listening. Two negative things about the headphones are that they can get a bit uncomfortable when using them for a long time, and since the headphone foam is made in leather they can get a bit warm and sticky if used outside in hot weather. Nevertheless the positive outweigh the negative by extremely far and I can't overstate how much I recommend these headphones for anyone looking for a superb pair of headphones for what I consider a very low price tag. Don't believe me? I dare you to go try them out, you won't take them off.

Perfect For Their Own Use
AKG, reliable as always, pulls through again. These are the smallest 'full-size' headphones I had, and fulfilled their job exceptionally. While obviously not studio monitors, these small stylish cans were perfect for DJing with crystal clear sound, so I could hit that sweet spot every time.
While the sound isn't perfect, it's dangnear close. Anyone without training wouldn't be able to tell any sort of difference. Again, perfect for what they're made for. The design is trademark AKG. While not being as flamboyant or tacky as other brands, AKG does it all in simplistic style and design. Lightweight, solid, AKG sound quality; what more could you want? 5 stars.
